Street dance photography workshop

Following on the from the success of the original dance workshop I’m introducing a new street dance workshop this Autumn featuring dancer, choreographer and teacher Mich-I

In this workshop we will look at various lighting styles and use it to capture street dance.  Initially we’ll work with a white background and understand how to get the most from it with our lighting

Then we’ll use the same background (actually an infinity cove) but use coloured gels to change the colour of the background without affecting the model

We’ll then move on to a black background and discover how to use lighting to make black clothes stand out against a black background.

We’ll be using different type of lightings from speedlights to battery powered studio style lights and you’ll see how you can capture images such as the above even on a limited budget.

The first of these workshops takes place on the 16th October at Infocus Studios in Marple.  Use the Paypal link below to secure your place or drop me a line using the contact page above with any questions.

Please note 6 places have already been reserved by students from previous workshops so book now to avoid disappointment.
